Solidiers Walking

Teresa Crooks, whose son returned from Afghanistan with injuries, started a challenge on Facebook to walk or run 100 miles in 30 days.

“In honor of our military, we are walking & running 100 miles in 30 days. Our service women and men walk for miles in the heat and the cold in over 85 lbs of gear to protect our beloved United States!

Some of our service people come back and suffer from PTSD. We are hoping to also raise awareness through our miles to get these deserving veterans the help & support they need!

If you would like, we would like to suggest donating to Next Step Service Dogs. This amazing organization connects veterans suffering from PTSD – teaching them to train the service dogs, as well as provide service dogs to other veterans. https://nextstepservicedogs.org/”

If you like to walk or run at all, join this fun challenge and post your progress! This officially started on July 1st, but you can start now and see how far you have traveled 30 days from now!
